Humble Beginnings
Well, you have to start somewhere, and this post is the official start of my time on Costa Blanca Vida.
I have yet to finish the design, write an about page, or get much else together for this new weblog about living in the Costa Blanca, but there are things that I want to write about, so I figured that I needed to get started.
My name is Mike Papageorge, I am a Canadian who has been living periodically in the Costa Blanca until recently, when I married my Costa-Blanca-born girlfriend Sonia. I am now in the throws of making the beautiful white coast my new home.
This weblog will serve to present my thoughts and observations - that is, Costa Blanca life from a Canadian point of view. What I hope is that, over time, readers will add their commentary, and a small community will develop here, one focused around life on the Costa Blanca.
I'm not going to go too far with this first post, as I could go on, but much of the information I feel like writing here right now belongs on the as-yet-unwritten about page. Perhaps I'll get on with that.
